Refrigerator Exhibitionism

I was both surprised and amused to recently see that, at least according to the Prior-Art-O-Matic, Insert Better Name Here is "a fridge magnet that bounces up and down! It runs on six little wheels and can be programmed to perform simple tasks".

I had been thinking about refrigerators anyway, and how we (consciously or not) use them to advertise and tell a little about ourselves to friends, acquaintances, and random strangers who come into our home. The best part about refrigerator exhibitionism is that it's completely socially acceptable - I always make a point of checking out what people have on their fridge whenever I go to someone's house, and no one ever minds, or usually even comments. It's like being able to look inside someone's medicine cabinet, right out in the open, and see a little bit about what they're really all about.

So, without further ado, here's an unedited, unplanned shot of our refrigerator, circa October, 2002. Make of it what you will.

The link, naturally, goes to a bigger shot of the same fridge, just in case anyone's interested in what concert we're going to later in the year or that sort of thing.
